New Cotton Plows
Each pass with the new Frontier cotton plow completes several critical functions. First, clearing blades remove vines and weeds from the top of therow. Then, a small moldboard opens a 12-inch furrow, while horizontal wing blades cut standing stalks six to 12 inches below ground level at the tap root. A finger-type stuffer wheel gathers and buries the cut stalks in the furrow, and a set of closing disks, or hipper/bedders, covers the stalks and builds a bed for the next crop.
