Our mission is to educate visitors about the history of tractor and engine design and manufacturing in Iowa's Cedar Valley.

We celebrate employee contributions, customers and the continuing values of Deere & Company.

All John Deere employees and retirees are welcome to bring their families to experience the museum free of charge!

A Leader in Safety: John Deere and the Rollover Protective Structure

The John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum will be commemorating one of John Deere's most important innovations, the Rollover Protective Structure, or ROPs, with an exciting new exhibit opening September 6, 2016. John Deere was a leader in the development of this crucial safety feature saving countless lives. It was through their relentless commitment to safety that John Deere played a key role in developing industry-wide safety standards and worked to promote a culture of safety for the men and women who use this equipment every day.

    Admission:

    $8 Adult (ages 13-61)

    $4 Seniors, John Deere employees and retirees, and active duty military

    Children 12 and under are free (accompanied by an adult)

     

    Hours:

    Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

    Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day


    Parking:

    Bus and RV parking is available in the north parking lot.

    Handicap accessible parking is available in the north parking lot and on the east end of the south parking lot.

    Guided tours are available for an additional $2 per visitor. Schedule your tour in advance because space is limited. These tours are offered at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
