Business Round Table Recognizes Deere's Environmental Stewardship
Highlights of John Deere's environmental stewardship efforts are included in the 2014 Business Roundtable Sustainability Report published recently.
In the report, Deere & Company Chairman and CEO Sam Allen and leaders of other U.S. companies explain how their businesses remain committed to the environment while working to support economic growth and meet the needs of a growing population.
"Each and every day, we seek new and better ways to achieve our higher purpose of helping people live better lives through our commitment to those linked to the land," Allen said in the report. He highlighted several Deere innovations that help customers operate in an environmentally responsible way.
The sustainability report is published annually by Business Roundtable, an association of chief executive officers of leading U.S. companies, and is available on the organization's website.
