John Deere cancels Learn & Play Day event

MOLINE, Illinois — John Deere has cancelled the Learn & Play Day event planned for June 20 at the John Deere Pavilion.

Due to the outbreak of the COVID‑19 pandemic, the company is calling off the event to ensure the safety and well-being of its employees, customers, and fans.

The annual Learn & Play Day gives children the chance to learn about the agricultural, construction, and forestry industries through fun, interactive activities.

The event has not been rescheduled at this time.

 


 

John Deere cancels Horsepower Homecoming event

WATERLOO, Iowa — John Deere has cancelled the Horsepower Homecoming Tractor & Engine Show event planned for July 31–August 2 at the John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum.

Due to the outbreak of the COVID‑19 pandemic, the company is calling off the event to ensure the safety and well-being of its employees, customers, and fans.

The annual Horsepower Homecoming features working demonstrations of historic John Deere equipment as well as educational seminars. Many participants bring their favorite pieces of Deere equipment to display.

The event has not been rescheduled at this time.
