We’ll be “Quacking Up” at the John Deere Pavilion March 29 - 31

Annual duck hatching event includes hatching observation, duckling education and photo opportunities with a special guest

MOLINE, Illinois (March. 7, 2018) – The John Deere Pavilion in Moline, Ill. will host one of the attraction’s most popular family events - the annual duck hatching March 29 - 31.

The event features a hatching observation and education program with informational sessions conducted at the top of every hour. In addition to observing duck eggs hatching and ducklings playing and swimming, families will be treated to brief presentations that will help children learn about ducklings. Children can ask questions and will have an opportunity to pet a duckling. A video showing duck eggs hatching will also be shown so guests can witness the full experience anytime during their visit.

“This is an exceptionally fun event for us and our guests,” said Brigitte Tapscott, manager of the John Deere Pavilion. “So many kids and families look forward to the hatching event each year and it’s become a tradition at the Pavilion. Kids have a great time watching the eggs come to life and they enjoy learning about the process along the way.”

In addition to the duck hatching, a special guest will also be on site for spring photo opportunities with children and families. The John Deere Pavilion’s duck hatching event takes place March 29-31, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
