Golf Course Superintendents Association of America
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America is the professional association for the men and women who manage and maintain the game’s most valuable resource — the golf course. Today, GCSAA and its members are recognized by the golf industry as one of the key contributors in elevating the game and business to its current state.
The Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) was conceived in 1982 by leaders in the sports turf field maintenance industry including the late Harry Gill, George Toma, Dr. Bill Daniels and Dick Ericsen. STMA combines the science of growing grass and the art of maintaining sport facilities, to produce aesthetically pleasing and safe playing fields.
The PGA TOUR is a tax-exempt membership organization of professional golfers. The mission of the PGA TOUR is to expand domestically and internationally to substantially increase player financial benefits while maintaining its commitment to the integrity of the game. The PGA TOUR events are also committed to generating revenue for charitable causes in their communities.
