Epic Art for an Epic Factory: Celebrating Deere’s $20B Commitment to U.S. Manufacturing
John Deere Dubuque Works added a bold splash of creativity to its mile-long factory floor with a new mural that celebrates the company’s heritage and future. The factory transformed a blank wall into a vibrant symbol of pride and progress.
World-renowned Midwestern artist Greg Gossel, whose portfolio includes work for Hyundai, Levi’s, and American Express, was selected to bring the vision to life.
“It’s incredible, this wall kinda has subtle sections to it and I finished the first and thought man once this is across the whole wall it’s really gonna be an epic piece,” Gossel said.
This isn’t just art. It’s a reflection of who we are and where we’re headed.
A Vision That Reflects Deere’s Values
The mural features Dubuque landmarks and showcases John Deere’s deep connection to the community. “This isn’t just art. It’s a reflection of who we are and where we’re headed,” said Alex Fernandez, factory manager. “It captures what matters most: our customers, our products, our employees, and our community.”
A Symbol of Progress and Purpose
“As John Deere invests nearly $20 billion in the U.S. over the next decade, this piece also reflects the pride we take in our work and the impact we make together,” Fernandez shared. “This mural is a symbol of progress and purpose that will inspire us as we continue to deliver for those who count on us,” he added.
