Demand Grows, Jobs Return: 27 More Employees Return to Dubuque Works
John Deere today announced that 27 additional employees will return to work at its Dubuque Works facility to support general factory needs in fabrication, assembly, and material handling. Additional callbacks are anticipated throughout the rest of the fiscal year.
These callbacks follow the company’s first-quarter earnings report, where John Deere shared that orders for some equipment continue to show strength and raised the projected net income for fiscal year 2026.
“Customer demand has continued to strengthen, driving increased production that makes these callbacks possible,” said Alex Fernandez, Dubuque Works factory manager. “We’re excited to bring our skilled and experienced employees back to the factory.”
Including this latest group, approximately 275 U.S. employees have been called back across multiple Iowa factories since the start of the year, as customer demand for equipment continues to rise.
