America’s Fields, America’s Game: John Deere Partners with MLB
What’s a more American way to celebrate the country’s 250th anniversary than baseball? As America looks ahead to this incredible milestone, John Deere is celebrating by becoming the “Official Tractor” of Major League Baseball (MLB), a new multi-year sponsorship.
The Game Is Built Before It’s Played
Long before the lights come on and the crowd fills the stands, someone is already there. Prepping the field. Caring for the grass. Making sure everything is ready. That effort mirrors what turf professionals, landscapers, grounds crews, and landowners do day in and day out. They are often the first ones there and the last ones to leave, putting in the time so others can play, work, and gather in those spaces.
“For nearly two centuries, John Deere has stood alongside the hard-working, dedicated people who care for the land and who build our communities,” said Jon Chase, John Deere’s head of turf and utility equipment. “Now, through our partnership with Major League Baseball, we’re able to celebrate America’s favorite pastime, America’s favorite teams, America’s favorite players, and the people who show up every day to build and grow America.”

Where Baseball and Heritage Meet
Throughout the 2026 season, this partnership will come to life through storytelling, advertising, and on-the-ground experiences rooted in places that matter to our customers. That includes moments like the MLB at Field of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa, where baseball tradition and agricultural heritage meet in the heart of John Deere country. It also includes MLB All-Star Week in Philadelphia, where the spotlight turns to the people and places that keep the game moving.
“John Deere represents the individuals who shape our communities where baseball is played every day and we’re proud that we can celebrate the people who keep America moving forward,” said Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB Chief Marketing Officer & Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Partnerships.
