John Deere Advocating for Agriculture

John Deere's success depends on our customers' success—especially farmers and ranchers having strong markets for their products. In today's challenging agricultural economy, we remain focused on delivering high-quality equipment and technology that help customers manage inputs, gain insights from data, and maximize efficiency.

Having grown up on a Wisconsin crop and dairy farm, I know firsthand how important it is to have a market for the products you produce. That's why we're actively engaged in policy discussions and initiatives to boost demand for the crops our customers grow.

A major growth opportunity lies in renewable fuels—ethanol, biodiesel, and renewable diesel—made from crops like corn, soybeans, and sorghum. These fuels benefit the environment, support energy independence, offer consumer choice, reduce fuel costs, and strengthen agriculture and rural economies.

We're proud to partner with grower organizations that have long championed renewable fuels. By aligning our voice with theirs, we can amplify efforts to expand demand. Our top priority is increasing E15 availability and encouraging the fuel supply chain to consider agricultural products for all transportation modes, including aviation and marine.

We're also putting our money where our mouth is. Last year, we approved B30 biodiesel for current products and are developing an ethanol-powered concept engine for our 8R series tractors.

John Deere will continue to invest in new and innovative solutions for our customers. We are committed to helping drive progress in agriculture by championing issues like renewable fuels. And through this work, we aim to help farmers, ranchers, and rural communities thrive today and into the future.
