We also work to maintain a supplier base that reflects the diversity of our markets worldwide. Since 1980, the John Deere supplier diversity program has established and nurtured relationships with diverse suppliers. Why is this important? A diverse group of suppliers brings a broader perspective to our business. A broader range of ideas and innovations, too. All this leads to better business for us…and our suppliers.
We currently seek diverse suppliers for a number of direct and indirect commodities. See the full commodity listing. Here is the current list of agencies that certify small and diverse businesses. See the full list.
To qualify as a diverse supplier, your business must meet a Supplier Diversity Classification as defined by Small Business Association (SBA), National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), or Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). Independent third–party certification may be required.
We understand the value of quality suppliers – the innovations, cost controls, and ideas you can bring to the table. Our business, and yours, can greatly benefit through a thriving, supportive business relationship. If you are a prospective supplier, see the Supply Network for more information regarding eligibility and profile submission.
