PowerGard Commercial

Comprehensive or limited coverages1 are available for row crop and 4WD tractors, utility tractors, combines, sprayers, cotton harvesters, self-propelled forage harvesters, golf and turf equipment, commercial mowing equipment, utility terrain vehicles, and AMS components.

Comprehensive coverage includes:

PowerGard Used Equipment

Comprehensive or limited coverages1 are now available for used tractors, combines, sprayers, self-propelled forage harvesters, cotton harvesters, and nutrient applicators that no longer have factory warranty coverage. See eligibility details below.

  • Up to 15 years old and 5,000 hours

Combines, Sprayers, & Nutrient Applicators:

  • Up to 10 years old and 2,000 hours

How long do I have to buy a PowerGard plan?

For most equipment, the lowest possible price is available when coverage is purchased before 6 months or 250 engine hours from delivery. Tractors qualify for the lowest price up to 1 year or 1,000 hours.

If your machine is out of warranty, a used PowerGard plan offers additional coverage. Hour and age limits vary by equipment type—see your dealer to confirm eligibility and options.

How much does PowerGard cost and can it be financed?

Price varies depending on the type of plan and equipment along with terms you choose. In general, PowerGard may be financed but needs to be discussed with your financial institution and/or John Deere dealer.

What terms are available for PowerGard plans?

Term options include 24 months up to 72 months (12 months to 36 months for used PowerGard) with various hour options dependent on your specific equipment, for both limited and comprehensive plans.

If I sell my machine, is PowerGard transferable to the new owner?

Yes, the remainder of your plan can be transferred to a new owner. (Note: PowerGard is not transferable from one machine to another.)

Do PowerGard claims need to be pre-approved and what is the deductible?

Pre-approval is not necessary for repairs covered under your plan. Deductibles vary based on equipment and are assessed per claim.
