John Deere’s extensive range of headers and pick-ups have been designed to offer you the flexibility to harvest in a wide variety of crop types and field conditions.

Maize headers, one of three heads available for the 7050 Series Forage Harvester, make it possible to cut maize, sorghum, sunflowers, whole crop silage, oil seed rape, hemp, pampas grass, etc, in any direction which is particularly important when harvesting laid crops.

Choose from three different ranges:

300 Series – available in 3, 4.5, 6 or 7 metres. The series design has been tried and tested with many years of proven use in a wide variety of crop types. Their short design means fewer counterweights are required, which reduces axle loading.

M 4500 Series – available in 4.5 metres. The series is lightweight and versatile and folds to a transport width of 2.47 metres.

460 Series – available in 6 metres. These headers are made for extreme harvesting conditions. It performs extraordinarily well in laid crops and the large gatherer drums ensure almost loss free feeding.

475 Kemper Head - available in 7.5 metres. The new 475 features two small drums at each outer side. The small outward turning drums provide a continuous material flow to the large gatherer drums.
