Maneuverability
With available Four-Wheel Steer (4WS) and crab steer, John Deere 400 Series Sprayers add more capability in challenging conditions by delivering tighter turning radius, improved maneuverability on headlands, and reduced crop damage — making it easier to navigate irregular field shapes, tight field entrances, and crowded tender sites. And with all four wheels at the same angle (crab steer), the machine can move diagonally while maintaining a straight line, giving you more options in maneuvering around obstacles.
See & Spray™ Gen 2
First it was fallow fields. Then it was corn, soybeans, and cotton. Now — with an improved hardware set, faster processors, and higher-resolution cameras — See & Spray Gen 2 can target weeds in expanded crops like wheat, barley, canola, peanuts, and sugar beets. And with new Variable Rate capabilities, See & Spray machines can measure living biomass to vary the application rate based on rate and biomass thresholds that you set. Now, you can be confident the right product is applied at the right rate and the right time, while increasing productivity through potential product savings and less time creating prescriptions.
