What is the John Deere Career Skills Program?

The Career Skills Program (CSP) is an online and two-week onsite program designed to equip service members with the technical proficiency needed to be a certified John Deere technician.


  • No cost to Service Members


  1. Active duty transitioning
  2. Secure command authorization to participate
  3. Honorable or general discharge
  4. Designated Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) or pass entrance exam
  5. Pass background check and drug screen

How to Sign Up:

  1. Confirm details and receive signup information from
  2. Secure command authorization including for Permissive Temporary Duty (TDY)
  3. Contact CSP/Skillbridge Installation manager
