Steven Owenson is Senior Vice President and Finance Director for John Deere Financial, a position he has held since July 2017. Owenson is responsible for leading JDF's global financial management and practices and providing financial counsel to the division leadership team. Steve works closely with corporate Treasury and Tax on corporate funding strategy, debt issuance, and tax issues impacting John Deere Financial worldwide.
Owenson joined the former John Deere Credit in 1995 and has held a number of positions in the areas of finance, business development, international accounting, and sales. He was appointed Vice President, Credit Operations, John Deere Financial, in 2012. He was then named Vice President, International Finance in 2014 before being appointed to his current role. Before joining JDF, Owenson was a staff auditor at Deloitte & Touche and Vice President and Treasurer for Wells Fargo Financial.
Owenson is a graduate of University of Northern Iowa, and holds a CPA. He sits on the Board of Directors for Johnston Dollars for Scholars.
