Vice President Information Technology, Deere & Company
Ganesh Jayaram is Vice President, Information Technology, Deere & Deere, a position he has held since January 2016. He is responsible for all global information technology activities for the company.
Immediately prior to his current position, he was named Director, Global IT Business Insights and Enabling Solutions. In this role, he was responsible for providing an increased focus on the implementation of the company's information management strategy and delivery of key business insights through data analytics. He also helped drive consistency and integration of key portfolio, financial, and enabling processes across the Global IT organization.
Prior to joining the company, Jayaram was Vice President of Business Development for the Water Quality Group at Danaher Corporation in Loveland, Colorado. From 2001 to 2003, he was Director of Corporate Business Development for Canon, U.S.A. in San Jose, California. From 1995 to 2001, Jayaram worked for The Boston Consulting Group in Chicago and Mumbai.
Jayaram received a bachelor's of technology in ceramic engineering from the Institute of Technology at Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India, in 1990. He received a doctorate in materials science and engineering from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, in 1995.
