All State Departments, Boards, Commissions, Agencies and Institutions mau utilize the contract. Oklahoma statutes also allow Counties, School Disctricts, Tribes and Municipalities to use the contract as well as State entities other than the State of Oklahoma if statutes allow for it.

Non-state agencies must complete and submit a Contract Participation Form to the State every time an equipment purchase is made from this contract.

All purchase orders must show John Deere Company as the vendor and reference the contract number.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the creation date of the quote. All quotes created in JDQ2 have creation and expiration dates on the upper right hand corner of the first quote page for your convenience.

Allowed. Allied equipment may only be sold in connection with the sale of a contract item. Items must be clearly labeled on the purchase order or quote as Allied.

Allied items are Order Zone products, implements, attachments, accessories, parts or bundles not manufactured by John Deere that are requested by the customer to complete the purchase of John Deere equipment awarded on contract.

Allowed. P-cards (credit cards) are allowed with no limit.

Allowed as long as agency agrees.

Dealer may charge $4 per loaded mile to deliver equipment from the dealership to the agency's location. The charge will be clearly indicated on the quote and purchase order as a separate line item.

Agencies may utilize their own financing or the low interest rate, low cost John Deere Municipal Lease (a type of financing that is specifically designed for qualified state, government and educational entities). Financing results in full ownership at the end of the lease term, which is often referred to as a "lease-purchase".

Multiple unit discounts ae allowed. The contract discount plus the multiple unit discounts equals the total discount. Discounts are based on the following schedule:

Sales of 3 or more like self-propelled products sold on the same purchase order are eligible for the multi-unit discount. Compatible implements sold with such products also qualify for the multi-unit discount, but do not count as a unit.

Allowed. Non-contract equipment may only be sold in connection with the sale of a contract item. Items must be clearly labeled on the purchase order or quote as Non-Contract.

Non-contract items are John Deere manufactured Order Zone products, implements, attachments, accessories, parts or bundles that are not currently on contact but are requested by the customer to complete the purchase of John Deere equipment awarded on contract.

A parts manual on CD must be furnished at no cost to the customer for each new item purchased. Paper manuals are allowed if CD is not available. Part numbers for the manuals must be included on the quote or the agency's PO at no charge. Dealers will be reimbursed for manuals. John Deere dealers can obatin the part numbers to order the appropriate manuals by accessing the Technical Publications Locator.

Allowed. Items must be clearly labeled on the purchase order or quote as Trade-In. The agency and the dealer determine the trade-in value.

Contract Updates

August 22, 2016 - Changed contract end date from 20Aug2016 to 20Aug2017. Discounts for all price tabs were changed except for C42.
