And in addition to a better grain sample, you can get better yield data with ActiveYield™. Instead of making time-consuming manual calibrations, ActiveYield lets you make real-time decisions from the cab with the press of a button, eliminating manual calibration and improving your yield data. Once you turn it on, automatic calibrations occur all day long.
Higher-capacity harvesting continues with the Dyna-Flo™ Plus cleaning shoe with Active Terrain Adjustment. A larger sieve reduces tailings volumes by as much as 28 percent. And in shoe-limiting conditions, you get 10 percent more capacity in corn. Active Terrain Adjustment helps minimize grain loss and reduces tailings when harvesting on rolling terrain. So, whether you’re going uphill or downhill, the combine will maintain ground speed and minimize loss — automatically.
Residue management during harvest is a key first step in a total residue management system for a strong overall yield. Adequate soil protection from the elements, a clean planting strip for uniform seedling emergence and stand establishment are all important considerations. And no single corn head residue solution can meet every farmer’s needs, so John Deere 700C Corn Heads are available with a number of residue processing options. For non-chopping corn heads, there are 3 different options: fluted rolls, opposed knife rolls and intermeshing knife rolls.
The Stalkmaster Corn Head Chopping System lets you size and chop corn stalks during harvest, eliminating second-pass operations and is available with either opposed or intermeshing knife rolls for more aggressive stalk processing. The StalkMaster feature can also be easily disengaged without using tools, to allow for residue processing flexibility between fields.
The new 700FC Folding Corn Heads are ready to fold quickly and easily from the cab, which means you’re onto the next field in seconds, speeding up transport and letting you harvest more acres each day. Corn Heads equipped with RowMax deliver up to a 50% increase in wear life of row unit gathering chains and sprockets. RowMax is also available as a kit for 600C/FC Corn Heads. The stalk roll wear life increases 25% with the new wear coating.
No matter what your residue sizing or seedbed prep choices are, we have rugged, versatile tillage options. The 2410 Chisel Plow has been field-proven to provide consistent residue management for years. The robust frame delivers added strength for more aggressive performance.
The 2623 Disk is a versatile tool you can use for primary or secondary tillage. Need to size and bury residue in the fall? Not a problem. Want to use it in the spring to ready seedbeds for planting? The 2623 Disk is equally adept at that task.
The largest in the 2600 Series, the 2625 Disk turns hard-packed fields littered with corn residue into well-worked acres sporting 30% residue cover or less. At weights up to 289 lbs. per blade and working depths up to 8 in., this behemoth ensures that neither compaction nor last-year’s leftovers interfere with creating a good growing environment for your seed investment. And if vertical tillage is your choice, the 2623VT implement has an aggressive gang angle to help anchor residue, manage weeds and root balls, and create an even, smooth seedbed under the topsoil. With a 21° angle on the front gang and 19° angle on the rear gang, the 2623VT delivers aggressive sizing and chopping ability in tough residue in fall — while helping create an ideal seedbed in the spring.
Fully integrated TruSet™ Tillage technology helps you get your field prep done faster in short tillage windows by making on-the-go depth and down-pressure adjustments from inside the cab – in only six seconds. The TruSet system also gives you the ability to run tillage prescriptions and document data from your field cultivator pass.
The majority of P, K, and Lime are applied in dry form in the late Fall and early Spring. The new F4365 High Capacity Nutrient Applicator with AB485 Air Boom offers 300 cu ft. of capacity, application rates up to 1,100 lb /ac @ 15 mph, and the ability to variable rate apply 1-3 products through a 70-ft. wide boom — all of which can help you cover more acres per day.
For post-harvest application, look no further than the 2410C Nutrient Applicator and the 2510H High Speed Applicator with Dry Nutrient Attachment. You’ll run virtually plug-free and know your nitrogen is precisely placed and sealed to boost next year’s yield potential. And if you want to band P and K at the same time as you apply anhydrous? One high-speed pass with the 2510H is all you need, decreasing the passes needed to complete the job.

Easily share your data with your agronomist, banker or seed rep. With more than 75 software connected software tools, including the major farm management systems used by agronomists, Operations Center ensures you can choose to transfer your data to who you want and when you want. And when you’re on the go, use the MyOperations™ app for daily summaries and insights on field productivity. And the MyAnalyzer™ app can help with decision-making by leveraging historical map layers, as well as harvest summary information.
Your tractor also comes with one year of JDLink Connect at no cost and 5 years of John Deere Connected Support. JDLink Connect opens an automatic, wireless information pipeline between you and your machines. You can have two-way automatic, wireless communication with your equipment. John Deere equipment also comes with built-in technology to sense potential issues and alert you — or your dealer — where you are. With John Deere Connected Support, you get Remote Display Access and Wireless Data Transfer. You can monitor machine fuel levels, location history, receive alerts and even view the in-cab display remotely. Your dealer can also monitor alerts, as well as diagnose problems, or update software remotely to get you back up and running. And if you do need a service call, this ensures that the dealer can bring the right tools and parts to the field.
