3. Product Manager (Ningbo) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Lead the portfolio definition of rice related products for China by identifying key customer requirements and translating customer needs into a well-defined rice product portfolio.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversees research process for identifying key customer requirements in order to define long term strategies for the product portfolio.
  • Leads all marketing/customer acquisition processes during the phases of EPDP for assigned projects to ensure products meet market share, profitability and customer satisfaction goals.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Leads the portfolio management process for all new product opportunities in China. Oversees the definition of customer requirements to support phases 1 and 2 EPDP and ensures execution of phase 3-5 EPDP for all projects.

5. Channel Development Manager - China (Beijing) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Manages the process and operational results of the dealer distribution channel for China. This position will ensure proper dealer network coverage, overall dealers’ loyalty improvement and capability of dealers servicing all the customer segments in China. Ensures regional processes are implemented and executed consistently across China. This manager will typically have a larger staff of direct reports.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitates dealership improvement (loyalty and capability) through dealer network expansion, replacement and termination of current dealership locations and ownership.

1. Parts Coordinator (Beijing) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The overall purpose of the job is to make sure all parts requested/ordered by dealers from different branches from different units are properly delivered to desired destinations in time, in good order and in good quality.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive, confirm, track and file daily parts orders from customers;
  • Execute parts order process;
  • Work with parts planning, warehousing, Marketing and sales in an effort to proactively assign promise ship dates and provide customer with the earliest possible availability;
  • Respond to dealer requests to expedite critical machine down orders through various contacts (i.e. Parts Marketing, Parts Planning, Finance, Warehouse, etc) to assure customers of the most timely delivery of parts;

4. Supervisor Warehouse & Logistics (Tianjin) TOP

MAJOR PURPOSE
Supervises and manages all parts shipping operations, both international and domestic; ranges from inbound to outbound freight and the proper crating of parts; manages the warehousing of all service parts and provides parts to both internal and external customers.

MAJOR DUTIES

  • monitors the day to day warehousing operations and staff, ensuring that parts are delivered to both internal and external customers in a timely manner ;monitor and check the operation volume, including order lines inbound, order lines outbound and order lines in processing to ensure the accuracy of the operation costs charged;

  • Manages the accurate parts inventory of parts Urumqi depot (including SAP system maintenance)
  • Manages the parts warehouse operation in Urumqi, including goods receiving, putting away, goods shipping, picking & packing,
  • Organizes the timely delivery to dealerships in Northwest China with coordinating with internal customer supporting team and external carriers.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Plans, directs and ensures effective execution of marketing Agricultural parts and John Deere Merchandising in China. Manages development and implementation of parts and service marketing plans, processes and activities to support achievement of overall parts and service marketing strategies, parts and service sales growth and profitability goals for China products.

1. Parts Credit Analyst (Beijing)TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • Review and analyze Parts credit applications for acceptance or denial following the credit guidelines, policies and procedures established by the Company.c
  • Evaluate financial statements to approve or deny parts credit. Making recommendations on acceptance when parts credit limit is above authority level.
  • Monitor daily operations of parts credit and be responsible for collection.

1. Government Affairs Manager (Beijing)TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for John Deere China’s strategic relationship with key Chinese policy makers at both central and provincial level and the delivery of targeted advocacy in support business goals. The incumbent will be responsible for helping the John Deere China management better understand the Chinese government systems and dynamics, identifying key governmental stakeholders, building and nurturing relations with selected stakeholders and maintaining a matrix of relationship with priority external government stakeholders. He/she will serve as the liaison with government officials towards positively affecting the John Deere China bottom line performance.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works jointly with John Deere China business units and functions to quantify their objectives and determine how government policy and regulations may impact them.
  • Monitors the development of related government policies and agriculture subsidy policy in particular and identifies specific initiatives that pose opportunities or threats to John Deere China interests.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Be responsible for supporting John Deere China business requirements via SAP in the areas of Sales and Distribution. Understand and address any integration points with other SAP modules. Configure SAP to meet the needs of the business.

  • Experienced in the development of System operational procedures for Users.

1. Legal Counsel (Beijing) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Enhance the legal service to Deere business in China.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft and review contracts or legal documents for the benefit and interest of Deere China;
  • Provide legal advice, legal analysis, alternatives, and legal training to internal clients cross China Operation in terms of more complex legal questions and issues;
  • Participate in negotiation upon internal client request;
  • Conduct legal research and translation when necessary;
  • Support to establish legal processes in company, including but not limited to contract review process, company annual filing/inspection process, dispute resolution process, etc.;
  • Update and analyze PRC laws and regulation periodically;
  • Assist General Counsel in compliance investigation and provide relevant legal advice;
  • Assist General Counsel in making and executing IP strategy in China, including both trademark and patent areas, and lead evidence collection process in case of IP(Intellectual Property) infringement case identified by business group;

QUALIFICATIONS

  • LL.B. degree from reputable law school in China, LL.M. degree is preferred;
  • At least 4 years similar working experience at in-house at multinationals or lawyer at international law firm;
  • Ability to draft high quality international legal document in both Chinese and English;
  • Detailed, organized, logical thinking, process driven;
  • Good team player and willing to travel upon request;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skill.
