1. Sales Representative (Harbin) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The overall purpose of the job is to make sure that marketing strategies of different units are implemented to the fullest extent possible, sales targets are met, sales network is developed per the company strategy and price is realized.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve sales target
  • Assist territory manager to establish territory sales plan
  • Give suggestions on dealer’s setup and development
  • Assist territory manager to develop market, capture new target market
  • Enhance dealer loyalty
  • Increase dealer’s sales ability
  • Support dealer to get sales
  • Manage and instruct on dealer’s dealing, include keep storage in good state, protect company’s assets
  • Cultivate potential customerv Coordinate to solve any problems during process of sales
  • Monitor & Coordinate within responsible area all marketing activities including promotion
  • Assist finance department to collect payments

2. Parts Forecast Analyst (Beijing) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of this job is to provide adequate supply of material necessary to run the business with regard to appropriate material replenishment tactics and strategies. Analyze the worldwide forecast and schedules of service parts to ensure customer support metrics of fill and inventory levels are properly balanced. Obtain delivery commitments and interacts with factories and parts suppliers to execute a delivery schedule that will meet an ongoing forecast of service parts. Consult with Parts Marketing on Parts Programs to ensure market intelligence is properly applied to the classes of parts to meet target programs. Responsible for larger, strategic factories or manages multiple combination of medium to larger factories.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors and analyzes demand to establish and maintain the aggregate forecast for specific factories to ensure customer support objectives of percent fill and inventory objectives of turn and assets employed are met.
  • Processes and works closely with assigned factories on Product Delivery Process (PDP) to ensure new parts are adopted and forecasted correctly. Requires analysis of past usage trends and some product knowledge. Reviews and provides input for stocking criteria decisions on new parts for depots and other service locations. Recommends/communicates a delay start of sales on a machine when customer service objective for new parts to support PDP program are not at agreed to levels prior to launch.
  • Maintains accurate and timely parts schedules for factories and suppliers to enable customer service support metrics are achieved. Identifies and alerts when demand trends exceed parameters and is empowered to order material to meet future, anticipated needs.
  • Works closely with Parts Marketing on Parts Promotions. Provides feedback and analysis on demand trends. Participates in Parts Promotion activities such as Expo and Parts Promotional Meetings.
  • Drives continuous improvement into the forecasting and scheduling position. Forecasts the parts and schedules the parts using a variety of (Integrated Inventory Management System (IIMS), Common Worldwide Inter-factory System (CWIS), Common Purchasing System (CPS)).
  • Interfaces with Distribution and Requirements Teams for adoption of new parts and the cancellation and obsolescence strategies for factories that are managed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Understanding of Order Fulfillment Process and unit processes and operations.
  • Skill in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  • 4 years university degree in Business/Management, Engineering/Technology, Accounting/Finance or Supply Management.
  • 1-3 years proficient experience in specific areas of Supply Management such as: supplier integration, strategic supply management, supplier development, module supply management, scheduling, forecasting, logistics etc.
  • 1-3 years Work experience in a team environment and of project management experience.

3. Executive Assistant (Beijing) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position is responsible for drafting, proofreading and editing all publications related to company’s business internally and externally, including China Marketing monthly report, website contents, company presentations, press release, and governmental related correspondences. This position also provides executive assistant to General Manager, China Marketing.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Constructs and edits China Marketing/sales monthly report in high quality for timely submission to senior management
  • Assists the public events/activities at national level related with oral or written translation
  • Constructs and edits the monthly management meeting reports as well as Regional management meeting reports
  • Coordinates budgeting between Marketing/sales and other relevant units
  • Orders import product brochures as necessary
  • Anticipates, facilitates and arranges the Director's schedule.
  • Receives and assesses incoming mail and, as appropriate, responds directly on routine matters, or directs elsewhere or puts forward to the Director.
  • Deals with incoming telephone calls referring to the Director only where essential and acts as a focal point and filter for visitors.
  • Manages the diary and ensures either personally, or by delegation, the appropriateness of arrangements for meetings, travels, accommodation and events.
  • Acts as the executive’s personal representative on internal and external matters of an administrative nature.
  • Undertake a variety of special projects, involving internal and/or external research and liaison, on behalf of and within guidelines provided by the executive.

4. Territory Manager (Beijing) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB The purpose of this job is mainly to develop and achieve marketing goals and objectives in a defined geographic area by developing the channel partners, promoting products and services offered by the Company and managing Company assets. This job may also be assigned to a territory with shared responsibility for overall channel partner performance.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures sales and market share goals are met. Sales could be direct or through channel partners.
  • Counsels channel partners on product, marketing, financial and/or management-related matters.
  • Monitors channel partner performance and takes corrective actions when results do not meet expectations.

1. Retail Finance Manager (Beijing) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Supports the development and implementation of retail finance solutions to the JD China dealer network. Solutions could include Cooperation Agreements with Banks or Financial institutions or any other kind of viable retail finance support that enhance the sale of John Deere equipment.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the development of a strategy that effectively supports the sale of John Deere equipment by the JD China dealer network through dedicated retail finance solutions and programs. Works closely with the JD China sales & marketing team in determining the needs and requirements for retail finance support.
  • Prescreens and helps to identifies viable banking partners or financial institutions.
  • Supports the Implementation of the strategies.
  • Coordinates all relationships with banks and finance companies regarding retail finance support. Supports and prepares for the potential negotiations with banks or financial institutions for cooperation agreements.
  • Monitors effectiveness of cooperation with banks and finance institutions.
  • Monitors retail finance environment and banking industry in China agricultural and construction markets. Researches on the retail finance schemes and programs of competitors.
  • Compiles quarterly briefing on the potential programs, competitors’ activity and local banking and legal regulations related to retail finance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of China equipment finance market, its players and the regulatory environment.
  • Understanding of captive finance strategies. Ability to transform knowledge of equipment finance market into effective strategy to support the sale of John Deere equipment in China market.
  • Project management and leadership skills: Can independently develop, present and execute the retail finance strategy. Can independently lead complex negotiations with banks and finance companies.
  • Knowledge of retail finance schemes, programs and risk management.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills

1. Communications Manager (Beijing) TOP

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Manages the communication media at the China Operations level to ensure consistent presentation of content to internal and external audiences. Prepares China wide editorial calendar to guide department/facility specific communications on behalf of senior management and core themes

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements communication content plans for internal and external understanding of China Operations’ strategic initiatives
  • Develops strategies through existing and new communication media that is aligned with the strategic direction established by the Enterprise Corporate Communications and China Management Team
  • Assists with the development and distribution of China wide strategies and messages as well as those at facility locations
  • Leads the planning and execution of China Operations owned media including intranet, China internet, corporate brochure, etc and disseminates the messages of strategic importance through company media
  • Plans and facilitates audience research to define what messages are acceptable and usable for both internal and external audiences
  • Helps develop Deere China branding strategy by integrating media relations at corporate, division and product level, analyst relations, internal communications, CSR and implement accordingly
  • Develops media strategy to maximize media effectiveness and media relevance; maintain and expand media relations with key media including both domestic and international to further enhance Deere’s positive coverage
  • Leads cross functional/business team efforts to implement company overall issue/crisis management policies and tailor them for local market ensuring issue/crisis readiness
  • Prepares speaking/presentation material for , provide facilitation to senior executives when they interact with analysts, Chinese government officials and media
  • Responsible for developing overall employee communications strategy and lead efforts to improve employee communications and in developing and executing key company business activities employee communications strategy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highest ethical standards and intellectual honesty, with demonstrated ability to earn trust, confidence, and respect of both internal and external stakeholders including John Deere seniors, employees, media, etc.
  • Demonstrated understanding of media relations, brand management, crisis management, internal communications skills
  • Well established media relations and contacts with key Chinese media as well as international media China base
  • Knowledge of layout/design for both print and internet media
  • Understanding of communications theories, tools, and execution
  • Knowledge of China specific media environment and relevant government policies supervision media
  • Demonstrated understanding of businesses, understanding of agriculture or equipment business would be a plus
  • Experience in writing, editing and media relations and speech writing
  • Agricultural or machinery related industry background
  • Degree in a communications/journalism discipline or equivalent
