7R Series

Technically it's a 7. But you'll call it a 10.

Be More Productive and More Efficient in a 7R

The 7R Series redefines what's possible with a row-crop tractor, thanks to a number of new features to help you be more productive and more efficient.

CommandView™ II Cab with optional cab suspension CommandView™ II Cab with optional cab suspension
No one puts it all together like John Deere, from easy-to-read displays to easy-to-learn controls, plus unlimited views, plenty of storage space, and unmatched comfort. A cab suspension option automatically makes adjustments based on your preferences and changing terrain for a comfortable ride.
PowerTech™ engines PowerTech™ engines
The 7200R and 7215R are built with the PowerTech PSX 6.8L engine, while the 7230R, 7260R, and 7280R feature the PowerTech PVX 9.0L engine. Both engines deliver uncompromised performance, outstanding fuel efficiency, plus reduced emissions all with just one fluid — diesel.
IVT™ and CommandQuad™ transmissions IVT™ and CommandQuad™ transmissions
The CommandQuad transmission gives you automated range shifting and push-button controls, and its Efficiency Manager™ feature maintains ground speed with the lowest RPMs to save fuel. The Infinitely Variable Transmission (IVT) delivers better overall performance at lower engine RPMs.

Improved implement compatibilityImproved implement compatibility
Hook up to larger implements — and a larger selection of implements — to finish big acres fast. 7R tractors feature increased hydraulic flow (up to 59 U.S. gpm optional), increased hitch-lift capacity (up to 17,000 lbs optional), and up to six rear SCVs (based on how you configure the tractor).
Integrated front hitch and PTOIntegrated front hitch and PTO
The integrated front hitch and PTO make the 7R Series more versatile in front-implement applications. Get up to 180 PTO hp, up to two SCVs, and a pushbar for use with ground-engaging implements. The front hitch is situated close to the front axle for better maneuverability and control.
Larger selection of tiresLarger selection of tires
Choose from an expanded lineup of Group 48 dual rear-tire options or go with a new Group 49 tire option — the largest agricultural tires in the industry. These larger tires can help improve traction, reduce compaction, and increase your load-carrying capacity.
