Breaking New Ground with new LaserRip II ripper points
John Deere is pleased to announce the all new wingless, 5-in., 7-in., and 10-in. LaserRip II ripper points. The new LaserRip II points are stronger, more durable than our current line of heavy-duty LaserRip ripper points.
When soil compaction is a problem, you need a ripper point that will stand up to tough, rocky conditions. The big and beefy LaserRip II ripper point easily fractures soil, withstands the shock loads common in rocky conditions, and requires less draft to pull it through the soil compared to other ripper points.
LaserRip II ripper points benefits:
- Extended life: added material on top of point for extended life – the nose has two angles-The one closer to the tip helps reduce draft and increase vertical force. The one towards the back of the point reduces draft, increases vertical force and rupture.
- Improved penetration: Wings have been moved back to help improve rupture. Top-plated wings for improved penetration into hard ground.
- Bolt protection: patented, enlarged mounting hole for bolt head protection and retention.
- Stronger material: single-piece cast of patented carbidic austempered ductile iron, and has outstanding abrasion and impact resistance characteristics.
- All makes versatility: the LaserRip II ripper points designed to fit John Deere machines as well as competitive machines such as Krause, Wil-Rich and Landoll with front-mounting hole. For CNH/DMI/Brillion machines we have LaserRip II ripper points with rear-mounting hole.
