Three Levels of Training Available - You decide what works best for your agency !
Level 1:
John Deere offers affordable online operator training through the online customer campus known as John Deere University, or JDU. Operators will learn machine knowledge including daily service checks, startup and operation, safe operating techniques, and how to maximize machine productivity through several interactive lessons, on-screen simulations, periodic knowledge checks, and a post assessment tests.

Level 2:
John Deere’s Operator Training Simulators are a cost-effective, safe, and efficient way to train new operators in a risk-free environment. Highly detailed and realistic lessons teach proper operator technique, machine controls, and safe operation in a virtual jobsite.
The Excavator, Crawler Dozer, 4WD Loader, and Motor Grader Operator Training Simulators are completely customer-driven and feature real-world situations, jobsite hazards, safety violations, hand signals, equipment damage, budget based scoring, and replica machine controls. John Deere Training Simulators provide many advantages for those operating construction and heavy equipment.

Level 3:
John Deere is proud to offer our customers instructor-led operator training under the guidance of our expert product application consultants. Instructor-led training classes are conducted at one of our two demonstration sites and are available for current series Excavators, Crawler Dozers, 4WD Loaders, Backhoes, and Motor Graders. The two John Deere demonstration sites include Sacaton, AZ or Coal Valley, IL . A list of classes offered are available upon request.
During this 2 ½ day class, students will develop the skills and confidence necessary to demonstrate proper operating techniques, perform daily service checks, demonstrate proper startup/shutdown procedures, become proficient with machine controls, and will learn safe operating techniques.
