CARY, North Carolina (August 25, 2011) – Homeowners can now get more done in their yard with less effort. The new John Deere Select SeriesTM X310 lawn tractor offers power steering, hydraulic lift, and an exclusive power system to handle tasks with more ease.
The X310 offers automotive-style power steering to easily maneuver around trees and landscaping. With the standard hydraulic lift, raising and lowering mower decks and snow blowers requires minimal effort. In addition, the iTorque™ Power System, with 18.5-hp (13.8 kW)*, increases lugging capability and delivers more power to front implements.
"The new John Deere X310 offers features usually only seen on higher-end lawn tractors," says Kim Ridel, John Deere tactical marketing manager. "The power steering and hydraulic lift on the X310 lets homeowners to do more around their property with far less effort."
To ensure an even cut, the 42-inch deck on the Select Series X310 includes the exclusive Exact Adjust deck leveling system. Exact Adjust allows operators to use the on-board deck leveling gauge in conjunction with a hex-key tool (included with the tractor), to level the mowing deck from a port on each side of the operator platform.
"With Exact Adjust, leveling the mowing deck couldn't be easier," continues Ridel. "With just a few simple steps, the deck is leveled for a smooth and even cut."
The John Deere Select Series X310 also offers a best-in-class, 4-year or 300-hour bumper-to-bumper limited warranty.
The X310 is scheduled for delivery to John Deere dealerships in late October 2011. It is the newest offering in the Select Series line-up.
