New John Deere 'App' helps to optimise combine performance
John Deere has developed a ‘Combine Performance Optimiser App’ for Smartphones. The App will suggest alternative settings for John Deere W & T-Series combines for a variety of crops and threshing conditions from full sunshine to damper night conditions. The App is supported by Android and iOS standards and is available free-of-charge in eight languages.
With harvesting seasons becoming more unpredictable and tougher on machines, this App will help operators adjust and set the critical settings for next year’s harvest of small and large grain crops to improve machine performance. “As we see the harvest window becoming smaller, we wanted to provide a quick reference guide to easily find the best possible recommended settings”, says Jeremy Gibbs, John Deere’s Product Marketing Manager for combines in Europe. The ‘Combine Performance Optimiser App’ is available effective immediately.
