Jesus Gonzalez is Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Deere & Company, a position he has held since November 2011. Gonzalez is responsible for leading the Center for Global Business Conduct, coordinating and sharing best practices to improve compliance efforts in all aspects of Deere's processes, policies and practices.
Gonzalez joined Deere in 1982 as a manager of audit and taxes. He has held positions of increasing responsibility including manager of financial planning, finance director, business unit manager at John Deere Des Moines Works, and managing director at John Deere Mexico. Most recently, Gonzalez was Director, Global Parts & Attachments, Agriculture and Turf Division, where he led an organization that leveraged common processes, systems, tools, and capabilities.
Gonzalez graduated from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education as a public accountant.
He is a director of Coparmex (Mexico Confederation of Private Companies), former president of the board of UCREDIMA (credit union for Industrias John Deere and its Mexican Dealers), and former president of IMEF (Mexican Institute of Financial Executives, Monterrey Chapter).
