The standard warranty for DFM (naturally aspirated), TFM (turbocharged), and AFM (jacket water aftercooled) Marine engines is 12 months with unlimited hours of use or 24 months and prior to the accumulation of 2000 hours, whichever comes first. In addition, the SFM (seawater aftercooled) Marine engine has a warranty of 12 months with unlimited hours of use, or 24 months and prior to the accumulation of 2000 hours of use with any M1, M2, M3, and M4 power rating.
An exception to this is any SFM Marine engine with the M5 power rating. The standard warranty for these applications is 24 months and prior to the accumulation of 1000 hours of use.
