John Deere Power Systems to Exhibit Marine Engines

Diesel Engines Will Be Highlighted at Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show

WATERLOO, IA (October 15, 2007) — John Deere Power Systems (JDPS) will exhibit three of its Tier 2 marine engines — the 6125SFM75, 6081AFM75 and 4045TFM75 — at this year's Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show held Oct. 25 – 29.

Product Highlights:
  • The 6125SFM75 features 12.5L of displacement and provides 455 kW (610 hp) at 2100 rpm.* It is a six-cylinder, electronically controlled, turbocharged and after-cooled marine engine. The 6125SFM is MARPOL Annex VI compliant and meets EPA Tier 2, IWT (2004/26/EC) and RDC (2003/44/EC) emissions regulations.
  • The 6081AFM75 features 8.1L of displacement and provides 280 kW (375 hp) at 2400 rpm.* It is a six-cylinder, electronically controlled, turbocharged and after-cooled marine engine. It has a high-pressure common-rail fuel system. The 6081AFM is MARPOL Annex VI compliant and meets EPA Tier 2, IWT (2004/26/EC) and RDC (2003/44/EC) emissions regulations.
  • The 4045TFM75 features 4.5L of displacement and provides 101 kW (135 hp) at 2600 rpm.* It is a four-cylinder, electronically controlled, turbocharged marine engine. The 4045TFM is MARPOL Annex VI compliant and meets EPA Tier 2, IWT (2004/26/EC) and RDC (2003/44/EC) emissions regulations.

The entire lineup of John Deere marine engines meets EPA Tier 2 emissions requirements, and the engines range in power from 60 – 455 kW (80 – 610 hp).
