Guidance and Machine Control
Take Guidance to the Next Level
Add up everything you spent last year on inputs. Now divide by 10. That’s what you could save each year with GPS-based guidance. That’s right -- university research* shows an average of 10% reduction of inputs in planting and fertilizing. Add automated section control and save 20% or more. Have irregularly shaped fields? You’ll save even more.

In fact, these studies show that automatic guidance can pay for itself in two years. Or fewer. Factor in how relaxed you’ll be at the end of a long but hands-free day in the cab, and only one question remains: Why aren’t you using AutoTrac?
It starts with a StarFire Receiver. You can choose the accuracy you need, ranging from plus-or-minus 9 inches (good enough for many broad acre applications) down to sub-inch accuracy with RTK.
Add a GreenStar 2630 Display, which allows you to run AutoTrac, as well as a host of other precision farming applications. Press a button, and let AutoTrac take over the steering. Grab the wheel or touch the brakes at any time to resume control. It’s literally that easy. You can also run AutoTrac from the Gen 4 CommandCenter Display (MY2014 and newer 7R and 8RTractors, MY2015 and newer (9R Tractors).
What’s more, you can take advantage of AutoTrac on older machines and some competitive machines with AutoTrac Universal and AutoTrac Controller.
