The combination of pressure plates and scrapping plates provide a profile that will keep the cotton plant in the picking zone longer. The spindle drive gear increases the speed of the rear spindles. With the cotton exposed to the spindles’ harvesting action for a longer period of time and with the rear spindles sped-up, you pick more cotton. The rear jet post helps push the cotton into the suction door. The more cotton in the basket, the more money in the bank.
