John Deere Named Official Equipment Sponsor of 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games
CARY, North Carolina (November 21, 2008) John Deere is the "Official Equipment Sponsor" of the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, as announced today by the World Games 2010 Foundation. The Games will be held September 25-October 10, 2010 in Lexington, Kentucky.
As a partner for the 2010 World Equestrian Games and long-time supporter of the global equine community, John Deere provides a number of products for both the professional and enthusiast. These innovations make work more efficient, keeping the welfare of horses at the forefront with quality products that are safe and take all considerations of these animals into account.
At today's meeting of the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Chairperson, Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein of Jordan commented on the new partnership.

John Deere becomes the latest top name brand corporate sponsor of the 2010 Games.

In preparation for the Games, John Deere will also support many pre-event elements and serve as the title sponsor of the Reining competition during the 2010 Games.
In addition to the 2010 World Equestrian Games, John Deere is partner to multiple equine industry associations and events including Breeders' Cup, National Thoroughbred Racing Association, and the American Quarter Horse Association.
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games are the world championships of eight equestrian disciplines recognized by the FEI, and are held every four years. The Games have never before been held outside of Europe; nor have all eight disciplines competed at a single site—both firsts that will be achieved at the Kentucky Horse Park.
