HOFFMAN ESTATES, Illinois (December 05, 2007) — John Deere Agri Services announces a new interface to the Agrian chemical compliance label database for the AgroGuide agronomy management system. The ability to access the Agrian data provides AgroGuide users a cost-effective option for producing regulatory documents including hazmat information, product labels, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and Worker Protection Standard (WPS) guidelines.

The accuracy and timeliness of information is increasingly important across the ag supply chain. Agrian's system features the most current chemical manufacturers' data. AgroGuide users can be assured that their products are being checked against the most recent available information from more than 90 chemical manufacturers, including all major crop protection companies. In addition, new enhancements to the AgroGuide system include automated updates of the Agrian data to ensure timely access to the most up-to-date information.

The regulatory documentation can be printed at the time of blending when using the AgroGuide system. With integration of the AgroGuide system to the AGRIS™ V9 business system, the documentation can also be printed when creating sales orders, delivery tickets, or invoices within AGRIS V9.
