POWER RAKES ADDED TO FRONTIER EQUIPMENT LINE-UP

LENEXA, KS (June 30, 2006) — For commercial landscapers looking to create the ideal seedbed with only one tool, Frontier Equipment is now introducing a new line of power rakes. They are compatible with tractors ranging in PTO horsepower from 18- to 80-hp.

"The new series rakes come in three sizes; five- six-, or seven-foot," says Michael Horrell, sales manager, Frontier Equipment. "A fourth, seven foot model is also available with a flex-frame design. All models feature a special roller, with carbide teeth, that rakes through up to three inches of wet soil to create a faster dry time."
Special end plates enable the operator to capture larger material from the seedbed or to create windrows. Dual gauge wheels allow for accurate skim passes or drainage grade cuts.
"Hardened carbide teeth top the seedbed preparation with a fractured pattern for moisture retention," explains Horrell. "The number of carbide teeth per rotor ranges from 88 to 132 teeth."
The new flex design ensure that the machine runs level to the contour of the land, and the PR1184F Power Rake allows the operator to adjust gauge wheel height from inside the cab of your tractor.
