**This contract has expired. John Deere has submitted a proposal for a new contract and is awaiting word from the State.**
Eligibility: State agencies and local governments (municipalities, counties, school districts, etc.) that are Co-op Members.

To obtain a quote, contact your local John Deere Dealer.  Submit purchase order to your local dealer.

All purchase orders must show John Deere Company as the vendor and reference the contract number.

Contract Details

Quotes Quotes are valid for 30 days from the creation date of the quote. All quotes created in JDQ2 have creation and expiration dates on the upper right hand corner of the first quote page for your convenience. 
Credit Cards Not allowed on this contract.
Demo Allowed if the machine does not exceed the hour usage for new warranty as outlined in the Warranty Administration Manual.
Fees Not allowed on this contract.

The low interest rate, low cost John Deere Municipal Lease, is a type of financing that is specifically designed for qualified state, government, and educational entities which allow full ownership at the end of the lease term.

Multiple Unit Discount

Multiple unit discounts are allowed.  The contract discount plus the multiple unit discount equals the total discount.  Discounts are based on the following schedule:

3-4 units – 1%

5-6 units – 2%

7-8 units – 3%

9 units or more – 4%

Sales of 3 or more like self-propelled products sold on the same purchase order are eligible for the multi-unit discount. Self-propelled products must be listed in the same tabbed price book section. Compatible implements sold with such products also qualify for multi-unit discount, but do not count as a unit.


Allowed with restrictions. Non-contract equipment/items may only be sold in connection with the sale of a contract item.  Non-contract equipment/items cannot total more than $5000 nor be more than 50% of the purchase order total.  Items must be clearly labeled on the purchase order as "open (OM)/best value".

Non-contract items are John Deere manufactured Order Zone products, implements, attachments, accessories, parts or bundles that are not currently on contact but are requested by the customer to complete the purchase of John Deere equipment awarded on contract.

Rental Not allowed on this contract. 
Special Delivery Obligations None.
Substitutions Not allowed on this contract.
Trade-Ins Allowed.  Items must be clearly labeled on the purchase order or quote as Trade-In.  The agency and the dealer determine the trade-in value.

Contract Updates

April 11, 2017 - Removed 1.5% fee from contract.

February 17, 2017 - Changed contract end date from 31Aug2016 to 30Jun2017. Removed Allied (non-Deere) category.  Changed Non-Contract category from 25% to a max of $5000 and less than 50% of PO total.

October 6, 2016 - Changed contract end date from 31Aug2021 back to 31Aug2016. Per TXMAS the contract must now go through a formal approval process for renewal.  

August 31, 2016 - Changed contract end date from 31Aug2016 to 31Aug2021.  

June 13, 2016 - Increased discounts for all price tabs to 17.25%. This is a temporary discount extended to GSA through 31Dec2016.

April 4, 2016 - Changed utility vehicle discounts on entire contract. Updated price pages on entire contract.

March 9, 2015 - Updated pricing on entire contract.
