Inside every 1400 and 1500 Series II Mower is a revolutionary, high-strength steel, self-reinforcing frame. One that surpasses the already high standard set by our previous generation front-mower frames. The rollover protection system is welded right on to the structure, and components are bolted on and located low for a center of gravity that's close to the ground. The result: An extraordinarily long service life. Excellent stability. And superior ability to withstand stress.
Compared to our previous front mower designs, these self-reinforcing frames:
- Overall are 38 percent stronger.
- Are tested to withstand 130 percent more side stress.
- Have frame rails that are 7.8 inches deeper over the critical front axle.

In addition to proven Yanmar engines and mechanical four-wheel drive, the 1400 and 1500 Series II have other rugged components such as a transaxle lifted straight from a tractor; internal wet-disk brakes; and an integrated, shaft-driven PTO. And of course 7-gauge steel decks.
