John Deere Supports Education

Education is a mainstay of John Deere philanthropy. The company continues its long-standing tradition of support for accredited colleges and universities. John Deere also supports programs such as Junior Achievement and the National 4-H Council.

John Deere Foundation
The John Deere Foundation inspires people to pursue advanced education in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Manufacturing) and business disciplines by supporting scholarships, key programs and faculty development at more than 40 colleges and universities in the United States.

In the past, the John Deere Foundation also supported some college capital campaigns, such as the new agricultural and biosystems engineering facility at Iowa State University.

The company has supported programs and initiatives in other countries as well. In Germany, for example, John Deere supports an internship program designed to acquaint young Russian farmers with western technology, as well as an annual gathering of young scientists from all over the world who meet to discuss their Masters or Ph.D. theses on issues related to American studies.

Contributions & Sponsorships
John Deere's national sponsorship program provides financial support to select not-for-profit organizations or events that align with our core values, business direction and objectives. We have built long-standing relationships with many educational-based organizations through corporate sponsorships.
