Intelligent Solutions Group
Patrick Pinkston is Vice President, Information Solutions, Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG), a position he has held since June 2015. In this role, he leads teams charged with establishing Intelligent Solutions technical architecture across all ISG business units, while also leading the strategy, design, delivery, and commercialization for the Information Solutions business unit. In addition, he has a leadership role in operations and integration planning for ISG.
Pinkston joined the company in 1977 and has held a variety of engineering, factory, and business unit positions. In 2000, Pinkston was named General Manager of John Deere Seeding in Moline, Ill., and in 2005, was named General Manager of John Deere Waterloo Works in Waterloo, Iowa. He was named Director of Manufacturing Strategic Planning for Global Tractor and Implement Sourcing in 2007, and in 2009 was appointed Vice President, Global Platform Services, Ag & Turf Division. In September 2013, Pinkston was named Vice President, Technology & Information Solutions for the Intelligent Solutions Group, and in June 2015 this role was refined to his current position.
Pinkston graduated from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, in 1977 with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering.
