Climate Change

Climate change is a global issue and various approaches to addressing it will likely impact the business climate in all of our markets. John Deere is working to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from current operations while ensuring that any new facilities minimize them. In addition, the company continues to reduce its products' emissions, which helps customers reduce their GHG emissions. John Deere believes it is important and in the best interest of all stakeholders to help find the most practical and widespread approach that also has as much uniformity as possible.

Deere is a leader in innovation and technical efficiency, promoting the use of biofuels, providing wind power, and engaging in an active remanufacturing business. As part of these efforts, the company is a partner in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Leaders program, and also is a member of the United States Climate Action Partnership (USCAP).
