Biodiesel Awards Recognize John Deere Employee

John Deere employee accepts Biodiesel Award
John Deere employee Don Borgman (r) accepts his award from Darryl Brinkman, Chairman, National Biodiesel Board
(February 20, 2006) - John Deere employee Don Borgman was recently the recipient of an "Eye on Biodiesel" award presented by the U. S. National Biodiesel Board. Borgman, who is Customer Segment Manager Ag Services, received the "Industry Partnership" award for promoting the use of biodiesel by the company and its customers. Last February, John Deere announced its decision to use 2 percent biodiesel as the factory fill for all diesel-powered equipment manufactured in the United States.

Borgman received his award on February 8 in San Diego, Cal., where he was recognized with four other recipients, including music legend and biodiesel advocate Willie Nelson.
