John Deere Credit



Martin L. Wilkinson is Senior Vice President, Renewable Energy, John Deere Credit. He was named to the position in January 2007. Wilkinson leads the development and growth of John Deere Credit's expansion into the renewable energy sector. He oversees the growth of John Deere Credit's wind energy business and additionally is responsible for other business development opportunities in renewable energy.

He joined Deere & Company in 1977 as an auditor, and has held positions of increasing responsibility in finance, information technology, strategic planning and operations in all of John Deere's equipment divisions, including overseas assignments. In 2003, Wilkinson was appointed to the position of general manager of the John Deere Davenport Works. In May 2005, he was named Vice President, Information Technology, Deere & Company.

A native of Ottumwa, Iowa, Wilkinson is a graduate of St. Ambrose University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting. He is also a CPA, and received a master’s degree in management in 1995 from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. He is a member of the Board of Directors for Living History Farms in Urbandale, Iowa.
