Stefan von Stegmann is Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Agricultural Division – Central Europe, CIS, Africa, Middle East, a position he has held since September 2007. In his role, he heads Deere's sales branch in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, and directs the sales branches in Russia, the Republic of South Africa, Poland, and Turkey.
von Stegmann joined the company as a trainee at John Deere Export in March 1990, progressing through positions of increasing responsibility. In 1996 von Stegmann was named General Sales Manager, John Deere Export. He held the position Manager, Factory Marketing at John Deere Werke Mannheim, and in February 2001, he was appointed General Manager, John Deere International Schaffhausen.
von Stegmann graduated from the University of Kiel with an advanced degree in agricultural economics.
