Stefan von Stegmann is Vice President, Sales, for Europe, North Africa, Near and Middle East, a position he has held since May 2009. He is responsible for all sales branches and the distributor business for agricultural and turf equipment in Europe, North Africa, and the Near and Middle East.
Von Stegmann joined the company as a trainee at John Deere Export in March 1990, progressing through positions of increasing responsibility. In 1996 von Stegmann was named General Sales Manager, John Deere Export. He held the position Manager, Factory Marketing at John Deere Werke Mannheim, and in February 2001, he was appointed General Manager, John Deere International Schaffhausen. In September 2007, he was named Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Agricultural Division – Central Europe, CIS, Africa, Middle East.
Von Stegmann graduated from the University of Kiel with an advanced degree in agricultural economics.
