Randal Sergesketter is Senior Vice President for the Worldwide Commercial & Consumer Equipment Division of Deere & Company, responsible for worldwide manufacturing, engineering, supply management and order fulfillment for the division.
Sergesketter began his career at Deere & Company in 1980 through the company's summer training program, and became a manufacturing management trainee in 1981. He has held a number of engineering and management positions , including Director, Worldwide Ag Order Fulfillment; General Manager, John Deere Ottumwa Works; and General Manager, John Deere Harvester Works. In June 2005, Sergesketter was appointed Senior Vice President, Manufacturing, Engineering and Supply Management, Worldwide Commercial & Consumer Equipment Division.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Purdue University and a master's in business administration from St. Ambrose University. He has completed managerial and executive development programs at several universities.
Sergesketter has served on a variety of boards including United Way and Boy Scouts of America. He is currently John Deere’s liaison to the Purdue University College of Technology and is also a member of the Dean’s Executive Council. In 2006, he was recognized by the College of Technology as one of its Distinguished Alumni. He also serves as the executive contact for North Carolina State University.
