Daniel C. McCabe is Senior Vice President, Equipment Lending – U.S. and Canada, John Deere Credit, a position he has held since June 2007. In his position, McCabe is responsible for all of Deere's equipment lending and leasing activities in the United States and Canada.

McCabe joined John Deere in 1974, holding positions at the company’s Davenport, Dubuque, and Waterloo, Iowa, facilities, including serving as controller for John Deere Davenport Works and John Deere Harvester Works. In 1997, McCabe was named Vice President, Finance & Accounting for John Deere Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of Deere & Company, and later assumed the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at John Deere Health. In 2003, McCabe was named Vice President, Information Technology for Deere & Company. In July 2005, he was appointed Senior Vice President, John Deere Agri Services, responsible for leading the newly-formed organization that includes information management systems and technological innovations that create visibility and operating efficiencies throughout the agri-food value chain.

McCabe is a 1974 graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Platteville with a bachelor of arts in accounting.
