John Lagemann is Vice President, Sales & Marketing — United States/Canada/Australia/New Zealand for the Agriculture and Turf Division, a position he's held since May 2009. He is responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the company's Region 4, which includes the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
Lagemann joined John Deere Company in Kansas City as a marketing representative in 1982. Since that time, he has had assignments as an area service manager, territory manager, training manager, and division sales manager for the Kansas City Branch. He was later appointed Manager, Factory Marketing, John Deere Harvester Works, and then managed John Deere's sales operations in Australia, New Zealand and East Asia for two years. He served as Vice President, Sales for the United States and Canada from 2002 through April 2009.
Lagemann earned both his bachelor's degree in feed science and management and his MBA from Kansas State University. He currently serves on the Business Advisory Council at Kansas State University and is Deere's executive liaison for the university as well.
