James R. Jabanoski is Vice President, Information Technology for Deere & Company. He was appointed to the position in January 2007. Jabanoski is responsible for development and implementation of the enterprise global Information Technology strategy for Deere & Company. His responsibility includes the corporate Information Technology group and the Technology Center of India located in Pune, India.
Since beginning his career with John Deere in 1980, Jabanoski has held positions in treasury, investments, business development, accounting, information systems and the Commercial & Consumer Equipment Division. In February 2001, he was appointed Vice President and Treasurer at Deere & Company and, in June 2004, he was named Senior Vice President, Equipment Lending, U.S. and Canada, for John Deere Credit.
A native of Canada, Jabanoski graduated with a bachelor's degree in commerce in 1980 from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Western Ontario (Ivey) in 1985.
