David C. Everitt is President, Agriculture and Turf Division – North America, Asia, Australia, and Sub-Saharan and South Africa, and Global Tractor and Turf Products. Everitt is responsible for the customer-focused sales and marketing regions of U.S. & Canada, Australia & New Zealand, Asia (including China, India, and South East Asia), and Africa (including Sub-Saharan and South Africa) and product platform groups consisting of all tractors and turf and utility products. He also has enterprise-wide responsibility for Worldwide Parts Services.
Since joining the company in 1975 as an engineer at Deere & Company, Everitt has held a variety of management positions in the areas of industrial engineering, production engineering, mechanical services and sales throughout the company, including John Deere Waterloo Works. In 1993, he was appointed Manager, Business Development, and subsequently managed cotton and factory operations at John Deere Des Moines Works.
Everitt was appointed Director, Region I, for the Worldwide Agricultural Equipment Division in 1996, and was promoted to the position of Vice President, Region I, Worldwide Agricultural Equipment Division, two years later. In 1999, he relocated to Deere & Company's European headquarters in Mannheim, Germany, as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Region II. Everitt was appointed President, Agricultural Division – Europe, Africa, South America and Global Harvesting Equipment Sourcing in 2001. Prior to his current position, he was appointed President, Agricultural Division – North America, Australia, Asia, and Global Tractor and Implement Sourcing in January 2006.
Everitt serves as a director of the Scott County Family YMCA, Davenport, Iowa.
A native of Concordia, Kansas, Everitt is a 1975 graduate of Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
