John Deere is introducing the robust, 4-wheeled John Deere 970D ECO III harvester at FinnMETKO. The machine's dimensions, its powerful high-torque engine and its long boom reach make it an outstanding all-purpose machine for thinning work.

The new harvester complements John Deere's line of harvesters. The 970D ECO III is more powerful than the 770D, and the 4-wheeled short chassis gives it added agility. The boom has a reach of 10 meters. Thanks to the excellent ground clearance (650 mm) and large wheels, the machine moves effortlessly in rocky terrain or in deep snow. The lateral cab leveling and easy control make thinning work truly enjoyable. 

Like the bigger harvester models, the John Deere 970D ECO III harvester comes equipped with the John Deere PowerTech PlusTM engine, designed specifically for heavy-duty equipment, and the innovative ECO III operational attributes.
