700J-Series Raises the Bar

700J-Series Raises the Bar

Powerful and agile: the new J-Series feller bunchers make the most of every moment in the woods. Their improved engine design enhances efficiency, reliability, and durability. With 29-percent more swing torque, these machines move faster into position, ready and waiting for your operator to make the next cut.

The field-tested enhancements of the 700J-Series feller bunchers were designed for lower operating costs and easier service and maintenance. At the core of the J-Series’ improved daily and long-term fuel efficiency is a streamlined hydraulic system.

The 700J-Series boasts its newly designed hydraulic system with improvements you can see and feel across functions, starting with 23-percent higher flow to the main circuits over previous models. Add to that 17-percent higher flow to the felling attachment, and you have more muscle to handle the trees with a faster saw recover time. Operators will be impressed with the improved cutting swath as well – increased by 50 percent over previous models, maximizing cutting time and reducing travel for better productivity.

The power-controlled, load-sensing hydraulics increase oil flow to improve function speeds in peak performance situations and increase the hydraulic system’s lifespan. Plus, the hydraulics run cooler, making pumps last longer and keeping your equipment running smarter with much more time between repairs.

Meanwhile, the newly styled optional Flexxaire fan system reduces debris buildup. With the Flexxaire® fan system, an optional reverse-blower function clears debris from blocking airflow, keeping the machine clean and cool. The improved service access and cleaner hydraulic layout require fewer parts — making service and maintenance a breeze.

Moving up the machine, Shift-Tilt™ technology gives the J-Series the industry’s most stable platform for cutting on difficult slopes. Its four-way leveling system allows the upper structure to shift a full three feet forward, keeping the machine’s center of gravity up onto the steep inclines. These powerful machines boast a proven tractive-effort-to-weight ratio to keep your operation going strong — even in swampy or super-steep areas.

From the inside, the operator works in the most spacious cab of its class. The roomy 700J-Series cab is sufficiently arranged for maximum productivity and comfort. Operators get a clear view of their surroundings through tinted polycarbonate windows with removable skylight, and enjoy a smoother and quieter ride thanks to isolation mountings.

Hand controls and foot pedals are designed to improve hand and foot comfort with features like tension controls and ergonomic shape. Indicator lights are backlit for easy viewing, and an AM/FM radio and standard air conditioning add to operator comfort.

The redesigned 753J and 759J feller bunchers are ready for action, and will easily be the new pacesetters in any logging operation!
