The 1470D is designed for the heaviest regeneration harvesting applications in the toughest conditions: steep slopes, deep snow, swampy ground and rough terrain. The 1470D features a large balanced bogie unit and strong boom, giving a full 9.3 m (30.5 feet) - even when felling the heaviest timber. A new and unique leveling cab and powerful engine complete an unbeatable package.

The harvester comes fully equipped with a John Deere processing head combined with a powerful PC/Windows® based measuring and control system. The transmission and boom are controlled with the TMC (Total Machine Control) system.
