The largest John Deere forwarder, the 1710D, is suited specifically for large-scale fully mechanized operations and large loads over long distances or difficult terrain. The 1710D is a perfect choice for high-volume, long haul, round-the-clock operations. A choice of two deck lengths and boom options enable loggers to match the machine to wood size and mill specifications.

The 1710D is powered by the John Deere 6081H turbocharged 8.1 L engine with a controlled power bulge for difficult travel and for loading. Working well within its maximum rated power at lower rpms, the 1710D is quiet and fuel-efficient. Reserve power avoids severe rpm loss when you load while moving the machine.
